Xenofex, Bristol, since 1998

Visual effects, title design, compositing and product animation, made by the people you actually speak to.

If you are producing a factual opener, a clean product film, a museum loop or a stack of shots that need quiet technical care, Xenofex is built for that scale of work.

I started the studio as a Flame and After Effects room for regional broadcast. It is still deliberately small. You get direct access to the artist or designer doing the work, a written estimate, proper handover notes and masters delivered in the format your pipeline asked for.

We suit producers, post supervisors, exhibition designers, agencies and product teams who need reliable moving image work without adding a large agency layer. We do not do speculative unpaid pitch films, synthetic likeness work without written consent, political persuasion advertising or same-day rescues that pretend a brief already exists.

One seasonal warning: we shut the machines down from 24 December to 2 January. I answer genuine delivery emergencies, but I do not pretend to be useful after the second mince pie.
